Ice Show Report - Teen/Adult "Elvis Medley"

Look, we're sparkly! This was our bow that moved down the line at the beginning of the performance. I'm in the middle (5th from the right). Sadly, this is the only picture that came out. My mom tried to video my spin and jump, but the camera must not have been set right. But, one is better than none!

The ice show was sooooo fun! I hadn't performed for an audience in 6 years, and I forgot how fun it is. There were 2 shows - 2:30pm and 7pm. Our number went well in the first show. The only problem was that our timing was off on our kickline which was pretty minor. The second number was amazing! Our timing for all of the group moves was dead on. The circle w/ turn backwards and bend down, the kickline, and the swinging door pass through were all right on. It was by far the best run through we'd ever done. As for my solo jump and spin, I did camel-back camel and a flip-loop (with arms overhead on the flip). My spin was a little weak in the afternoon performance, but my jump was really good. Then, in the evening performance, my spin was really good, and I almost forgot to do the loop on the end of the combination and ended up doing a baby size loop. All of the ladies I skated with were just fantastic. We had a great time and all vowed to do the show again next year!
