Ouch!
Sometimes, I think that I'll never be 100% healthy. I hurt the front of my L ankle on Friday - I think my skates were just tied too tight. I had a bruise and some swelling. It didn't hurt too much today, but I could definitely feel it. I also pulled a something in my R butt cheek. The only time it really bothered me was when I was in a wind up for a spin. Nothing major, just annoying.
I was tired today. My muscles just never felt like they were in sync with my brain. My back camel has gone missing, as well as any progress I've made on my 2salchow. At least my axel is still consistent. A year ago, that would disappear too. So, I've made some progress. I spent some time working on my lutz - trying to really get over the picking foot and pull back and up into the air with my arms. I still had a bit of a flutz going, but not too bad. It probably wouldn't be noticeable unless you looked at the tracing.
I'm excited to skate tomorrow. I'll have more time to play around because I'll go for the whole 2 hour session. I only did 45min today because I was worn out after a weekend of travelling. I'm going to stretch tonight. I didn't stretch this weekend or before skating today. My new goal is to do at least a basic 15min stretch every day. Even when I'm travelling.
